Getting here

The closest airport is Bristol Airport, which has flights to many international destinations. A bus between Bristol Airport and the Bristol city centre runs at all hours and takes under half an hour. If your airport has direct flights to Bristol, this mode of travel is generally the best.

The London airports are also not far away; Heathrow is the closest. To get here from the London airports, take the bus (www.nationalexpress.com) or the train (www.nationalrail.co.uk). It is best to book the bus or train in advance.

Bristol is well connected to the rest of the UK by rail; from London, there are direct trains from Paddington station. The closest station is ‘Bristol Temple Meads’, not ‘Bristol Parkway’. From there you can get the local train to Bristol Clifton Down train station, or simply get a taxi to the Clifton Hotel, if you are staying there.
